At AUROIA ("we", "our", or "the app"), we believe your conversations and data belong solely to you. This Privacy Policy explains how AUROIA operates across Android, Desktop (Windows & macOS), and our Chrome Extension.

1. Zero Data Collection & Zero Telemetry

AUROIA does NOT collect, store, transmit, or monetize any personal information, conversation prompts, account passwords, API keys, or session tokens. We have no tracking SDKs, analytics frameworks, or behavioral loggers embedded in our applications.

2. Direct Encrypted Communication with AI Providers

When you interact with ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, or Perplexity through AUROIA:

• All network communication occurs directly between your device's browser engine and the official endpoints of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Perplexity over encrypted HTTPS / TLS 1.3 connections.
• There are zero proxy servers, intermediary relays, or cloud middleware intercepting your traffic.

3. 100% On-Device Screen Snipper & OCR Processing

When you use the visual Screen Snipper tool on Android or Desktop:

• On Android, optical character recognition is performed 100% locally on your phone using Google ML Kit On-Device Text Recognition.
• Screen captures and temporary crop images are kept solely in local temporary cache memory and are never uploaded to any external server.

4. Audio & Microphone Permissions

AUROIA requests microphone access (`RECORD_AUDIO`) solely to enable real-time speech-to-text dictation and voice chat features within the official web interfaces of supported AI models. Audio streams are sent directly to the AI provider you are actively conversing with and are never recorded or retained by AUROIA.

5. Local Storage & Session Cookies

AUROIA preserves your active session state (cookies and local storage) locally within your device's sandboxed environment so you stay logged in between app launches. This data remains on your physical device and is never synchronized to external servers.

6. Children's Privacy

AUROIA does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected from any user, children's data is inherently protected.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated timestamp.
