Terms of Service

Welcome to AUROIA ("we", "our", "the app", or "Service"). By accessing our website, downloading our applications, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use AUROIA.

1. The Service

AUROIA provides a multi-model floating desktop and mobile software assistant interface that enables users to access AI providers (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity) seamlessly with productivity tools including on-device screen snipping OCR, prompt presets, and dual compare mode.

2. Subscription Plans & Payments (Dodo Payments)

Our order process and payment handling is conducted by our online reseller & Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments Inc. (“Dodo Payments”). Dodo Payments handles all payment transactions, invoice generation, currency conversions, and global sales taxes / VAT / GST.

• Free plan: The AUROIA tab is available at no charge. Paid plans add web tabs, snips, presets, and dual compare.
• Monthly Basic ($3.99/mo): ChatGPT, 15 prompt presets, and 25 daily screen snips. Billed monthly after the 3-day trial until cancelled.
• Basic Annual ($29/yr): Same as Monthly Basic, billed annually after the 3-day trial until cancelled.
• Monthly Pro ($7.99/mo): All AI models, unlimited snips, unlimited presets, and dual compare. Billed monthly after the 3-day trial until cancelled.
• Pro Annual ($59/yr): Same as Monthly Pro, billed annually after the 3-day trial until cancelled.
• Founder Lifetime Pass ($79 one-time): Permanent Pro access. No trial and no recurring billing.
• Activation: Dodo’s email is a payment receipt only. Open AUROIA and activate with the same email you used at checkout. You can also paste a Dodo pay_ or sub_ ID.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

You can cancel a Basic or Pro subscription at any time without AUROIA cancellation fees:

• Self-Service Cancellation: Use the manage-subscription link in your Dodo Payments receipt to stop recurring billing.
• Access After Cancellation: You keep your current plan until the end of the paid period.
• Refund Policy: Full details are in our Refund Policy. If you have a problem within 14 days of purchase, request a refund through Dodo Payments support with your receipt.

4. Acceptable Use & Third-Party AI Accounts

AUROIA is a client-side wrapper and productivity tool. You are responsible for ensuring that your usage complies with the applicable Terms of Use of third-party AI services (including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Perplexity). You agree not to use AUROIA for any unlawful activities, unauthorized scraping, or violation of third-party terms.

5. Intellectual Property & Software License

While your subscription is active, you may use AUROIA on your own devices for personal or work use. This is not a team license, reseller license, or white-label grant. Source code is also available under the MIT License where designated. AUROIA respects third-party trademarks; ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity are trademarks of their respective owners.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

AUROIA is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor do we control the availability or responses generated by third-party AI providers.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall AUROIA, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
